THE FOUNDER

Brittani Stone, MPH
Founder & Executive Director
A Vision Rooted in Real Life
Brittani Stone is a first-generation college graduate, public health advocate, and passionate changemaker committed to eliminating healthcare disparities in underserved communities.
Her story doesn’t begin in boardrooms or grant offices—it begins at home. Raised in a food desert and surrounded by loved ones who struggled to access quality healthcare, Brittani saw firsthand how systemic inequities leave entire communities behind. From confusing medical bills to lack of preventative care, the system often failed the very people it was supposed to protect.
Determined to create the change she wanted to see, Brittani founded A. Rose Nonprofit in 2018 as a bridge between people and the support they need to thrive—educationally, financially, emotionally, and physically.
“A. Rose isn’t just a nonprofit—it’s a promise to my community that someone is fighting for us.”
— Brittani Stone
Her Journey to Public Health
Brittani holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and a Master of Public Health from Benedictine University, with concentrations in Health Management & Policy and Health Education & Promotion.
She has worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician for over 10 years, gaining hands-on experience in the field of healthcare and developing a deep understanding of what’s missing at both the patient and policy levels.
Her academic and professional path has always been fueled by one central mission: ensuring underrepresented and BIPOC communities are equipped with the tools, resources, and access needed to live healthier, longer lives.
