Who We Are

At A. Rose Nonprofit, we are dedicated to eliminating healthcare disparities in underrepresented communities. Since 2018, we've been building bridges between people and the health education, services, and resources they deserve.

We serve primarily the South Side of Dallas and Chicago—two vibrant, resilient communities that continue to face systemic barriers in health access, education, and economic mobility. Our programs are built on the foundation of the Social Determinants of Health—addressing healthcare access, education quality, neighborhood environments, social support, and economic stability.

We believe that when we support people holistically, we empower them to thrive. Our approach is rooted in culturally relevant education, accessible resources, and real community connection.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to advance complete well-being by addressing community needs across the Social Determinants of Health. We mobilize culturally aligned programs, education, and partnerships that empower underserved communities to live healthier, more supported, and more informed lives.

Identity Statement

A. Rose is a public health organization committed to complete well-being. We believe health is more than the absence of disease — it is shaped by the supportive conditions needed for complete well-being, including social, economic, educational, environmental, and health-related factors. Our work is grounded in the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), and we deliver culturally sensitive programs, education, and partnerships that make resources more accessible, relatable, and community-centered for underrepresented populations.

Vision Statement

A future where every person has equitable access to the supportive conditions — social, economic, educational, environmental, and health-related — needed for complete well-being and a fulfilling life.

Meet Our Founder
Brittani Stone

Brittani Stone is a first-generation college graduate, certified pharmacy technician, and public health professional on a mission to make healthcare equity more than just a buzzword.

Raised in a food desert and inspired by her family’s healthcare struggles, Brittani founded A. Rose Nonprofit to be the organization she wished her community had.
