SENIOR HEALTH & WELLNESS FAIR

The Senior Health Fair is part of A. Rose Nonprofit’s ongoing commitment to advancing health access and education for older adults. Across multiple years, this event has connected seniors to health screenings, wellness resources, and community-based support through collaborative partnerships.
DRUG TAKE-BACK EVENTS
in partnership with Dallas College
Over multiple years of participation, A. Rose Nonprofit has supported safe medication disposal and community safety by helping remove unused and expired medications from circulation. Collectively, 12 full disposal containers have been collected, reducing the risk of misuse, accidental exposure, and environmental harm.
STEP INTO HEART HEALTH
Dallas, TX
A. Rose Nonprofit hosted a heart health community event in partnership with Pan African Connection Bookstore, Black Heart Association, and 410 Line Dancers. During the event, 21 community members received cardiovascular health screenings, including blood testing and consultations to better understand their results. Additional attendees participated in a cardio-focused line dancing session and received healthy refreshments provided by GEODIS. The event supported preventive education, physical activity, and community connection through collaborative programming.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Community service is central to A. Rose Nonprofit’s work. We prioritize collaboration with local organizations, agencies, and community partners to extend reach, share resources, and deliver services that are culturally responsive and community-informed.
